Resisting
It's a heavy, chaotic time. I'm sure you feel it. I don't know about you, but I always feel better if I can take action. I have found an action is making a difference. Carlos Della Valle. Angela Della Valle. A year ago, these people were strangers to me. Today, even though I've never met Carlos and I've met Angela once, they are in my life daily. That's right - not a day goes by (looking at you, Stephen Sondheim) that I don't think about Carlos or Angela. Carlos, a resident o

Not Booked Still Blessed
Here's a truth - I haven't had a theatre contract since 2022. Even writing that date feels remarkable. I wasn't getting constant work, but I was getting quality work. Shows I cared about, with people I loved, in theatres that knew what they were doing. In retrospect, it was a good run. Right To Die
One of the big differences between working on stage and working in film is when the art actually gets released to the world. This has been one of the most interesting aspects of incorporating film into my performing career. For instance, in September of 2024, I filmed scenes for Right To Die . The working title at time of filming was Compassion , which was interesting only because another project I filmed that year was called Suspicion (if you haven't, you should watch it).

My Personal 4-Week Challenge
I'm taking a look at this blog, and the website it is attached to, and I am seeing how out of date some of the features are. Also, the blog is a random mess of whatever I feel like posting, which to be honest, I rather like. I've devoted too much of my life to organizing. Living in the sloppy mess of life, that's where I'd like to be right now. I would also like to be better about keeping this fresh. I'm seeking new places to express myself, and I believe this blog could be o

14 Minutes
That's what my timer says. I have 14 minutes. That is enough for an update. I shot Tartar U.S.A. way back at the end of June. Worked with a fantastic group of young creators in the heart of South Jersey during some very hot weather. That seems so long ago on this cold December day. Let's see...where are those photos? Drat, I can't find a single one right now! I will find some and post here in the near future. I've been resisting the dumpster fire of the current US administrat
