Persistence Pays Off

I'm thrilled to report that I'm in rehearsals at Montgomery Theater in Souderton, PA. Why am I thrilled? Because I really like this theater. Tom Quinn, the Producing Artistic Director, is one of the kindest people I've ever encountered in the theatre world. AND, I've enjoyed every performance I've seen at Montgomery. Smart, well-cast, interesting works.

I'm also thrilled because, once again, my persistence paid off. I'm not sure how many times I've auditioned at this theater, but it's definitely more than five. There were times when I went to an audition, knowing it was unlikely that I would be cast. I still went, to be present and to be seen. Not in an annoying "here I am" sensibility, but in a "hello, how are you? Here, let me show you what I've been up to" sensibility.

So, if you're in the area this November, come see me as Miss Betty in Jen Childs' The Carols. Ticket information right here!
