Had a blast, an absolute BLAST the last two Saturdays performing Happy Hour with my dear friend and colleague, Mark Yurkanin. This was my first cabaret performance since...gasp...2019. Sold out The Media Arts Council on Feb. 4. SOLD OUT. Boy, do I love those words. Had a good crowd at Darlington Arts Center, and was genuinely thrilled to share the evening with the opening of Meg Lemieur's show. When Meg was a teenager, she studied voice with me and she babysat for the Nickster. We hadn't seen each other in years. To have our art in the same place? I'm shaking my head at the joy of that.
