Right To Die

One of the big differences between working on stage and working in film is when the art actually gets released to the world. This has been one of the most interesting aspects of incorporating film into my performing career.
For instance, in September of 2024, I filmed scenes for Right To Die. The working title at time of filming was Compassion, which was interesting only because another project I filmed that year was called Suspicion (if you haven't, you should watch it). I was referring to 2024 as my "sion" year.
Time went by and Compassion seemed to have disappeared. I really, REALLY enjoyed this project. I very much believed in its purpose; working on projects that have the potential to change the world has become a big factor for me in decided what projects to sign onto. Working with the director, Wren Rene, was an honor and a joy. Wren filled the room with creativity and empathy, and allowed all of us to bring all that we had to our roles. Which is why I was very pleased to receive word that Right To Die (working title Compassion) was not only released, but showing at festivals, including DC Independent Film Festival and Oxford (MS) Film Festival.
