CABARET

A versatile performing artist, Heidi Hayes has enjoyed a career in cabaret, musical theatre and opera. She has traveled around the world as a cabaret singer, from Singapore (The Arts House) to New York City (Metropolitan Room) via Florida (Marriott, Fort Lauderdale) and back to Philadelphia (The Red Room at Society Hill Playhouse, Darlington Arts Center, and the New Leaf Club).  
 
Heidi began her performing career in the field of opera and concert, appearing with many organizations throughout the United States.  She then moved into the theatre field, having most recently appeared in the New Voices Festival at Bucks County Playhouse.  She has also worked on many productions at Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theatre, as well as appearing with the Ocean City (NJ) Pops, and City Theater of Wilmington, Delaware, as well as other companies. 
 
For over twenty-five years, Heidi has been a passionate arts educator, working with both children and adults in such diverse locations as Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and Singapore.  She is married to opera singer Richard Johnson, and is the proud mother of UW-Wisconsin chemical engineering major, Nick.
